All Blacks vs England 3rd Test Match 2014

The All Blacks had a great game against England in the 3rd test match.The All Blacks won   and the score was 36 to 13.The All Blacks tried really hard and broke England's defence and got to the try line.The tries were from Julian Savea and Aaron Smith. The All Blacks were proud of Julian Savea and Aaron Smith for always supporting the person who had the ball.After the game Steve Hansen their coach was very happy that they thrashed England and because they got the bonus try.

Now the All Blacks have to train even harder for their next match so they can get another bonus Try.

Funeral Of The Tongan Church Minister

On Saturday I had to go to Favona church to be at the minister's funeral. His funeral started at pm and went to midnight.When the funeral started we had to say a prayer and then we had to sing over 20 songs. At his funeral lots of people came with flowers and tapa cloths.It was really packed at the funeral. Lots of people came from Tonga for the funeral and even a minister from Tonga came.

The minister of Auckland was a very nice man and he was old.After the funeral people stayed at church until it was morning because he was getting buried on Sunday morning. When he was getting buried lots of people were crying and they stayed at the graveyard until it got dark.

Now we have to choose another minister for Auckland.

Black Caps vs West Indies

The Black Caps were in Jamaica to play the West Indies at cricket.The Black Caps won! It was a very hard match.The score was 403 to 216. Mark Craig, in his first game for the Black Caps took 4 wickets to go with the 4 he picked up in the first innings.His figures are the best ever bowler figures by a few Zealand on debut.

(The Black Caps lost the second test match though.)

Chased By 2 Dogs

Last night I was bored so I went out to my cousins and we just sat outside and listened to music on his phone. After that we heard dogs barking and we were trying to see where they were.

When we were looking for them we saw two of the dogs running straight at us so we ran around the block to my friend’s house and jumped over his gate. We went and hid at the back of my friend’s house.

After that we didn't see or hear any dogs so we ran back home. When we got home we heard the dogs barking again but we just ignored them.

Sonny Bill Back To Rugby Union

Sonny Bill Williams is returning to rugby union at the end of this year’s NRL season. He just signed a contract for two years. He will play for his old coach Tana Umaga at Counties Manukau. Sonny Bill helped the Sydney Roosters to win the NRL last year and he is going to miss playing for the Roosters. Sonny Bill is now going to help Counties Manukau win the ITM Cup.

Having A Big Umu

On Saturday I had to wake up early with my dad and my two brothers because all the men and boys at our church had to go to make an umu.The umu was for our priest because he came back from Tonga on Friday night. In the umu there were four pigs,taros and kumaras.

Because the men were doing the umu the ladies had to make the potato salads,surumi salads,chickens,raw fish,chop suey and mussels.It took 2 hours for the ladies to make all these tasty foods.The pigs,taros and the kumaras were ready at the same time as well.

After everything was ready someone  remembered that we forgot there were 2 more pigs to go in so we waited another 2 hours. When the two pigs were finally ready our priest was surprised because he didn’t know we were doing an umu for him.

Pewter Necklaces

On Wednesday at technology we were in  the hard materials class.The hard material tech teacher is Mr Grundy. He showed us that we were going to make a necklace out of pewter alloy .He drew a cat head silhouette  cut the the cat out of the MDF board.When he finished cutting it he got another two MDF boards and he put them on each side of the cat.

Then he melted down some pewter and we had to wait for about 5 to 10 minutes until it turned into liquid metal.When he finished he got the cat and sand papered it with the 180 sandpaper,the 220 sandpaper,the 400 sandpaper,and the 1200 and 1200 wet.

We then watched a video of Mr Grundy making another necklace.

Next week we are going to make necklaces for four people.The pewter necklaces we are going to make is going to take a while and you need to use lots of tools and other thing to make the the pewter necklaces.We are making four people we choose and it can even be ourselves.I am making the pewter necklaces for me,my mum,my dad and my sister.When we make it we are going to be able to use the machines and the tools at hard material.We are going to be able to make our own and Mr Grundy has to watch us make our one because we watched him make his one last week.
